Bigg K Vs. Shotgun Suge
This is the second installment of VLADTV, and tha Killaz Battle Leauge. What should have turned out to be a classic event, looked more more like a nightmare. Bigg K (Norfolk, Virginia), usually comes correct, and Shotgun Suge(Newark, New Jersey), most battles, makes it a night to remember. This was NOT the case! Bigg K won the coin toss, and elected Suge to go 1st.
Round 1-Shotgun Suge
Not the delivery I'm used to hearing from Suge. Bars are ok, but it seems that he's not really interested in the battle.
Maybe it's the crowd reaction that's throwing him off. A minute & twenty seconds into his round, Suge stumbles. The recovery was ok, and know he's at least starting to get aggressive. No quotable lines, and ends his round less than a minute later.
Round 1-Bigg K
You can tell "K" already feels Suge is not really there to battle. He starts out with the usual Bigg K flow. Calm, but delivers well. "your shirt size got more x's tha a smut b***h" line was dope. "shotgun out the window, like blood who shot ricky" was alright. "coming out the pocket soon as shotgun play" was hard. "joking with a stick, this ain't a popsicle" was ok. I like the "your chances to win are supermodel somalian slim" line. "time for boy to meet world" line was super cold, but being that Suge wasn't into the battle, I think that took away from Bigg K honestly. A few more lines, and "K's" round is over.
Bigg K-Round 1
Round 2-Shotgun Suge
Now the delivery is on point, and the bars start out ferocious. Can Suge keep this up? About fourty five seconds onto the round, Suge starts to lose his touch again. I can tell he is forgetting his lines, as he pauses, and slightly stumbles. The "willie manchester, jay rock" line was crazy cold. Every line, and bar after that was less than average, and ends his round again, like he doesn't want to be there.
Round 2-Bigg K
"K" again comes out with a strong delivery. "nick at night" line was ok. Got way more crowd reaction that it deserved. I like the "bill collector, suge, fake beef flip". "purple rag on the chopper, that donatello tek" was extra hard. Only a few people could catch the "more people trying to get these grapes then two saturdays ago" bar. That was dope as hell, if you caught it. The whole "team jersey" scheme was slept on. "tapped his pockets" line was funny as hell. "I got some candy in my pocket, and it's a jaw breaker" was dope, and brought the biggest crowd reaction of the night. Good round for Bigg K.
Bigg K-Round 2
Round 3-Shotgun Suge
Now this is the round I'm expecting Suge to come out in killer mode. He doesn't.. Delivery is on point. A few dope bars, but still nothing quotable. More stumbles, and forgotten lines. Suge laughed more during this battle than he spit bars. He even actually quoted a WHOLE scene from the movie Juice, then just stops, and says, " i don't even give a f**k", and ends his round. Making it less than even a two minute round. I really hope he's saving his best for John John, like he said. Horrible showing for Suge!
Round 3-Bigg K
Now "K" seems like he could care less anymore himself. Delivery is so so. A few stumbles. "diabetic" line was cool. "dumping the heat cousin, nobody ain't see nothing" was hilarious. "shooter let 'em fly for cheap, buddy pass" was very well slept on. "all of y'all gonna get these teks, group chat" was slept on. The message to VLADTV was insane! Probably the best bar of the battle on either sides. Freestyle at the end was dope as ever. "K" closed the round on, and with a strong note.
Bigg K-Round 3
Do NOT be fooled by Shotgun Suge, nor Bigg K's sub-par performance. Both of these guys are very dope battle rappers, who always put on! I'll be lookin forward to each of their next battle. Hopefully each of them are bag with a vengeance. S/O to VLADTV & Killaz Battle League, who may very well be on a come-up!
