FACE OFF BLUES

Wow its been 4 years since I've blogged or did a review about battle rap but IM BACK!!!
Just like BARS IS BACK so Cassidy says or has been alluding to all other battle rappers and to the whole battle rap community. Whats so funny is he is what brought me back here. I had plans on coming back but this was the push. The way he totally disrespected the KING of DISRESPECT Arsenal the Rebel was crazy. This was the only face off that Iv'e ever watched that made me change my mind about who would win smh. He caught my man Ars off guard with the realness he was saying. Ars couldn't do nothing except say what Cass was saying lol. I'm not going to blog to deep on this cause I'm saving my words for the real battle OCTOBER 6th yes here in my hometown of Philly.
This will be URL first event in Philly so goons behave so there can be more. The card is CRAZY and the fans are hype. So i'm gonna leave on that note I'll see yall back here sometime after the battle.

Sweet Cherry Pie

JAZ THE RAPPER VS OFFICIAL
The last time Jaz The Rapper graced this battlerapics screen we crowned her Queen.
She dug into 40 like a hot knife through butter, so it be. NOME 5 brought us a new young gunner in town goes by the name Official and shes equivalent to The BEYONDER.For all those who didnt read comics coming up, The Beyonder was a alien villan who made an appearance in everyones comic just to overtake them, so hence Official.Even though the only loss I give to her was to Couture, she has been gun ho since taking out female battlerap's elite.
This was a dope battle, dope enough to bring me out of hiding so let's get into it.
Round 1 was just both of them going head to head.Round one was where they both showed where they was coming from.Jaz went first and she was phenomenal, witty bars and good crowd control.Jaz had a lot of quotables but this is the one that did it for me
Quotable Bar:"Imma send you to the Saints where you can really get ya city rep
When I drew the nine she felt the breeze against her neck
Blow,Blow shots from the glock I can give it
except Imma talk crazy to Official just so I can get the tech"(Tek)
Wow the Queen came with some fire but the New Orleans
native did not come to play with Jaz.Official from the gate started throwing haymakers at Jaz like she knew no other way. Then she hit Jaz with one of the most craziest haymakers that almost cause a first round KO
Quotable bar:"This cat don't talk when rats around Tom & Jerry
Test me my dude watching I got the proctor ready
Cock the dezzie?Jaz you can stop already
pop a gun?you too afraid to even pop ya cherry!!"
This bar was crazy and had the building shaking plus it fit so well because even though Jaz didn't use gun bars per say she still implemented gun bars.
Official took this round hands down.
Round 1 OFFICIAL

Round 2 these two was still going for each others jugular.Jaz was staying consistent with witty bars and nice set ups for her punches
Quotable bar:(and I hope I didn't quote this wrong if so get @ me)
"Blackjack and missed shots
thats three to the head
and her ribs get seven
then her legs get the remainder
how much I put in O shins eleven."
That sceme and wordplay was nice, Jaz had a dope 2nd round. But the Beyonder you know that chick that watch heads go from track stars to swim stars yea Official came back with a just as good 2nd chipping away at Jaz's existence
Quotable bar:"I said man let me find out Jaz got da glock on me
Imma pop on her beat me $**t I must be seeing $**t wrong(glaucoma)
I buck shots than naps is all she see when the glock on her
that mean a pistol gonna put you fast asleep thats a glock coma."
Even though Jaz was coming with some heat Official was coming with lava, O just had one up on her again in this round.
She really put a stamp on the crowd to be her first appearance as a female on the big stage.
Round 2 OFFICIAL

Round 3 took a different spin.Jaz turned it up a little and shined brightly in this round.
Official came out nicely I thought, but the crowd booed her on her first bars and what she said didn't deserve a boo come on yall!
O was coming with some cool bars this round but she was missing something.
I gave Jaz this round she was just more solid.
This battle I believe stood up to the hype and fed my ears something from the top shelf.
Like I said the last time Jaz graced this battlerapics screen we crowned her Queen,
So do we crown Official or is it to early? I would say yes but some may say she has to see
40 BARRS first.
What yall think?
All in all dope battle from both these beautiful black talented femcees.

Street Preacher

T TOP VS Th3 SAGA
Battle rap is known for being  ferocious, ego driven, boastful, grimey, disrespectful, angry,
sometimes violent, and a host of other not so nice adjectives. With that being said they're good things about battle rap also but that's not my point. When battling someone you would only expect to hear about how much you want your opponent to die or how the blicky going to take their face off.One would ask themselves why would a church going christian would like to get into such a industry that focuses its self on being the raw under belly of hip hop.Battle rap is not a place where you'll find someone ministering about Jesus but I present to you
T Top Vs The Saga Ultimate Freestyle Fridays spear headed by our Father Smack (URL) and hip hop's own Bow Wow. Most would try and be as disrespectful as they can while battling but Saga hopes his opponent's soul is right and T Top hopes his opponent get down or lay down,
Lets Go!
First round set the pace for both emcees and ya boy Saga went first and put fire in the ring and showed everyone he can do gun bars with out using gun bars
Quotable bar:"You think he gonna murder me and get away clean with the crime?Naw you cinderella cause its clear heel leave his pump at the scene of the crime."

Saga crafted his round nicely and gave us a dope first round, I was impressed.
Now T Top  put his rounds together to not only discredit Saga and his Christian beliefs but to show that T Top ain't no amateur and knows how to attack and set up his opponents demise
Quotable bar: "But now lets discuss this clown and how he spiritual
I think I found the easiest ways to get rid of dude
when you claim that holy card you gotta give us proof
its more than doing this after your bars see I did it to
and after this battle I gotta play for a zip or two."

  .
Top is a beast and laid down the smoke to his battle plan and executed it with raw finesse.
I edged this round to Top,he just came harder, believable and more polished.
ROUND 1 T TOP

Round 2 Saga was no slouch he had some good fierce bars here and there sprinkled through his verse. He took a jab at Top and said he look like Mark Henry and proceeded with this wrestling scheme
Quotable bar:"You claim you got dat rock just know I'm a little bolder top
I'm Steve Austin wit dat vest I leave your skull on your back I'm Stone colder Top
you lucky to be close to a king that's Jim Ross with a clover Top
I feel like Shawn Michaels when he won the Royal Rumble
cause after those three lines its over Top."
Saga definitely got bars and he presents them well.
This was another consistent round from him.
Top went next and stayed with his formula and angle.
Quotable bar:"Lets say he is in the streets and keep the steel around him
or he up in the church and keep the spirit around him
if he in the streets I hope he got those bricks in store
we trying to catch a n***a slippin before he flip them jawns
its all black everything the timbs is on
two sizes bigger they never knew who kick the door."

Top energy and delivery was so monstrous you can really feel and see what he was expressing in every bar.Top took this round also, Saga hit Top over the head a few times but T Top nasty gutta aura just over shadowed Saga.
ROUND 2 T TOP

Third round Saga stepped it up and went out with a fight, he made sure his presence was felt and his God was represented with style and fierce bars.
Quotable bar:I put hands on his face let him beat box for real
these punchlines will clean him out this is detox fa real
I don't care if he got guns or he plot to kill
cause I know someone who died on that T Top for real."
Wow being a strong believer in Jesus myself I felt that bar was hard I mean real hard!
Saga was A1 in this round but T Top was just too much for Saga.T Top spit some of the realest stuff I heard in a long time and broke Saga down
Quotable bar:"I should let my n****s give you a bird
not a brick I mean a dezzie let it sit on your nerve
this a blessing man I used to spit my s**t on the curve
and was stressing cause I done frontin out a brick till the third
but finessin only half of that s**t was a bird
now thw question could I find another n***a to serve
I was hungry s**t I waited on the pastor to feed me
but they didn't have a basket that they passed out to the needy
I had to run to my cousin he was nasty and greasy
but made sure I had money and a pack for the evening
so in your eyes bizzy is an actual demon
but in HIS eyes Bizzy ain't as bad as he's seemin."
This battle was dope with crazy replay value.Saga's pen game is nice he gave me everything I expected from him dope bars with our Lord and Savior fuse in the seems.
That was a gift and a curse for our christian rapper because T Top turn Saga's christian angle against him by baring his soul and being real with not only Saga and the world
but God himself.

Bars & Bricks

BORN VS BRIXX BEVEDERE
Go-Rilla Warfare has hosted a battle they can call their own,
Born Vs Brixx Bevedere is definitely going to be thrown in the mix when Battle of the Year comes up on the lips of battle rap enthusiasts. This battle right here as we all know was the inevitable and they both gave us just that.
Yes say it with me "UNDERATED" is what will be chiseled on these soldiers tombstones because everything was here and you know there is no lack of pen game from these two.
Born and Brixx gave us a barfest and put on a raw show for the people. This battle was exceptional and bars spoke for themselves.
Born went first like always because this bol never wins the coin toss but that wasn't a factor here. Born is really in a league of his own when it comes to wordplay and punchlines.Yes some may say Born is this and Born is that from his early days but one thing I can say for Born now here in 2014 bar for bar a lot of battle rappers can not see him.
Round 1 Born layed it on thick and started throwing hay makers out the door and I definitely like how he uses wordplay here
Quotable bar:"We aint making the same noise, money couldn't read the challenge I issued in May rather or not he either name Floyd."
Quotable bar:"Two glocks a get ya crew shot from here on(heroin) its all in vain(vein) so get the spoon hot."
Qotable bar:"I keep a heavy tote got something to say to a star telescope (tell the scope)."

Born really brings the bars for those who really want to hear that fire.
At the same time you got Brixx coming next like a dragon that hasn't breath any fire in a while so you know how hot its going to get.Brixx is no slouch and has barred through some kats like a fat man during thanksgiving dinner.
Brixx Quotable bar:"These n****s stole orbit my rounds
whether they plan it(planet) or not
I get some moon shine expose and rip him
he swing I lean this me to your right(meteorite)  this blows will dip him
this is how you put your foot in someones a$$ and have your soul assist him(solar system)."
This first round they both brought their A game but I'm edging it to Born.
He had more punches that landed and I felt Brixx rap a little to long.
ROUND 1 BORN

Round 2 was another dope display of battle rap at it's best.
Born was coming with some hay making bars and kept the momentum up.
Quotable bar:"I'll leave this loser hurtin
the forty a scope a young n***a out like a cougar lurkin
Goons on deck my shooter searchin
head shot leave a numb skull like a stupid person."
Born brought the noise to Brixx and his rebuttal against what Brixx said about Born ex hit hard and I can say stole the round for Born.
Brixx wasn't letting up either even though I already edged this round to Born I still have to express how crazy Brixx got off and still brought it
Quotable bar:"Drop another diss song and start with me lil tune a have a new Born in a suit thats the Carter 3"
This round was a sea saw of bars but Born with the edge.
ROUND 2 BORN
Round 3 Born and Brixx turned up enough to seal this battle as an official classic.
Born started the round with a barrage of bars that connected on cue.
Quotable bar:"I said he sweatin salty know I got the weapon on me I'm not Daylyt we don't buy bull(bible) in the ring you'll get exposed tryin to test the 40(40 barrs)."
But Brixx had some witty heat of his own
Quotable bar:"I die slow every battle no props
so I'm out that old box cookin like a stove top
jab jab stick in his mouth like a blow pop."
The punches were coming from all directions. This was the round to me that was the most debatable but I have to say I edged this round also to Born, he was landing those punches and chased behind them with hay makers that gave him the win to me.I take my hat off to Brixx though, because he was in a league of his own and should have solidified a true lyrical presence now in the battle rap world.
Born on the other hand will be ducked by the elite and not so elite because they just don't won't to have that L on their resume from the one they call BORN.

Chilla Jones - A Boston Classic

CHILLA JONES
WELCOME to BOSSTOWN
Can battle rappers make good music?
The stigma that has saturated the battle rap community since its genesis is that battle rappers can't make good music.Sadly to say in America stereotypes are our truth so no matter how many battle rappers bust out on the scene with dope music nine times out of ten it gets over looked but not today.I take my little Mixtape/Album of the Week section serious and if you frequent this site you've seen Chilla Jones "Welcome to Bosstown" going on its third week, because before I pull it down I want to make sure it gets its just do.People, people, people Mr. Bosstown himself has crafted a classic! As I shifted pass Datpiff.com and proceeded to download this gem I had no idea what was in store here.
Dj 2 Thirteen creates a Boston backdrop and arranges these tracks like a pro.
There are twelve tracks on Welcome to Bosstown and every track holds its own and tells a story about Chilla Jones and how Boston has help chisel the man we see today.Chilla is the most simple-complicated emcee in battle rap as well as in music.WTB unfolds like this
1.Introduction: produced by Surefire Studios this beat seems like it was crafted just for Chilla because he flows over it like he's sprinkling powder sugar over funnel cake.Lyrics were projecting telling the world just who Chilla Jones is right now. This was a marriage and I could have easily took in two more minutes of this, excellent intro.

2.Bosstown: produced by Reckless Dex feat. Lee boy with Lisa Bello on the vocals.
What made this dope from the start is how  after you hear Chilla's voice on the Introduction track the next voice you hear is his man Lee Boy which I thought was humbling and a nice touch. The hook is so melodic and pulls you in instantly and Chilla lays out the schemes on this track like there's no tomorrow.

3.Things Change: produced by Surefire Brady with Ben Carew on the chorus, this track could arguably be an around the clock hit all day on the radio. It has everything, great production, spirited lyrics and the number one thing for a hit which is the hook, its all here.Chilla is focused and he breaks down how people used to front on him and now everyone is awake and wants him on board, he's just letting them know yall know better than that .
Hook- "You didn't like me then but you like me now,I wasn't welcome then but you invite me now,you used to have it all now you have nothing and now I'm stuntin ain't it funny how things change."

4.Deja Vu: produced by Surefire Brady: This track is simply dope; Chilla sees himself and rap career flourishing greatly in a vision. He notices all the ups and downs but satisfying on its own. It's so surreal he feels like he's already done these things he's envisioned but he has been living it in some way shape or form, creative.

5.Money: produced by Surefire Studios and Riznut. This is not a story we all haven't heard before but ya boy Chilla slows it down and flows over this beat with excellence, schooling you about the evils of money and what too much love for it will get you.Showing you your own reflection in the mirror of MONEY.

6.Karma: produced by Maggbeatz feat.Mann Terror and Easy Money this beat alone carries itself being so grimey and demanding.Chilla picked the right two emcees to go to war on this beat with him because everybody shined and held their owned on this. The sixteen bars each emcee spit expressed how when you do the dirt that same energy you put out will come right back plus some.

7.Rider: produced by Movie Muzik Marshall this track is one of my favs, Chilla lets you know how much his girl is a rider and if you have a girl or a wife that's down for you this is going to be the anthem when you're riding in the whip with your significant other. This track right here is a home run.

8.Straight Spittin: produced by Billy Loman feat. Easy Money & Termonology the title speaks for itself. This is the that track you'll hear on  Juice 2 if they ever made it.This was straight east coast spittin at its best over a head nodding east coast beat.Chilla and his cohorts dismantled this track,"Straight Spittin" nuff said.

9.How the Game Go: produced by Virus Productions feat. Riznut This track's vibe snatches you as soon as you hear the drum pattern, and Riznut's flow and the way he rides this beat for Chilla is superb; "It's me you got the hook up through - look at you I brought all the food and you want me to cook it to".Then Chilla pours his Boston persona all over every kick, snare and hi hat.Props to Chilla on this track how many rappers glorify that they got a full time job?

Respect.

10.Uncle John: produced by Surfire Studios deep dope song right here.Chilla expressed some strong feelings for his uncle that passed and shined some light on other areas family wise. This is the type of track that separates the emcee from the rapper. The type of track that makes heads go "you hear what he just said?"

11.Saint or Sinner: produced by Reckless Dex feat. Mickey Factz This that track that echoes I'm grown I know whats up out here I know what I want and it better hurry up and get here because its been a minute. You know that struggle between right and wrong  descisions, you going in so deep you start out a Saint you look in the mirror and start looking like a sinner.

12.DILLIGAF: produced by Movie Muzik Marshall This track steals the show, not only is it the perfect outro song it just helps you release at the same time.

Courtney Bennett absolutely destroys this hook, she makes you feel everything she's expressing and saying.Chilla goes in and out of the walls of this beat like a prison inmate that just got parolled letting all the naysayers and haters know that Chilla Jones just dont (insert hook here).
Welcome to Bosstown
was created to be a mixtape but blossomed into what we used to call an album.I enjoyed this project immensely and as we speak I have it playing in the background.Chilla Jones has made something that you can pop in and let it ride. So go download this musical work of art I guarantee you'll have it on repeat.
Download here --> Welcome to Bosstown

Lets talk to Mr. Bosstown himself and get some insight on this CLASSIC.

1.How you get the name "Chilla Jones"?

CHILLA: The name "Chilla Jones" was given to me early in my rappin days... before I started to take rap serious. "Chilla" was short for
"Chinchilla" which at a point were in style, being mentioned in every rap song, etc. Eventually, it took on a couple of other meanings, one being that I am extremely chill and laid back, and the other meaning that I was cold as they say, which in Boston and other places is just slang for being a great lyricist.
So, I just ran with it.

2.What was your vision or intent for this mixtape.
CHILLA: My vision for "Welcome to Bosstown" was to create a project that had mass appeal, no pun intended. A project that people everywhere, in every town, who graviatated toward any type of hiphop could really get into and appreciate. I tried not to box myself into making one type of song or having one sound, I wanted to really show some versatility on this project. For the people in Boston familiar with me locally, I also wanted it to have a theme of "look how far i've come" because my city isn't a battle rap city so, there's tons of people who still only know me or music who think I've just been idle since my last release in 2010. So I wanted to speak to them too, get their attention and let them know, "hey, you havent noticed but, i've been putting in work in the battle culture under your radar, and now I'm back to business making music".

3.What song do you feel as though you "went in" the most on?

CHILLA: Honestly it's hard to say. It wasn't my intent to "go in" on any song really. I wanted to stay away from being overly lyrical because battle rappers sometimes have this complex where they just battle the beat. They write verses to songs that sound like their battle verses. I did try to incorporate some schemes here and there just for kicks, and I definitely can get busy lyrically on wax, but I tried not to do that so much on this project. With that being said, my favorite verses on here were on Bosstown, Straight Spittin and Saint or Sinner. On each of those records I worked with other great lyricists and felt I needed to bring my A game lyrically to keep up with them.

4."Uncle John" is a deep song bro, what provoked you to make this record?
CHILLA: Honestly, man, like, my process when it comes to developing ideas I think is different than most. Really, I let the beats speak to me. I dont know if that sounds weird to people but, I let the beats talk to me man. When I hear a beat, I hear the lyrics in my head for the most part, as far as how I want to approach it, and what I want to say. So when Brady played me that beat man, I could hear a story. I could hear this picture being painted where I'm expressing how I'm feeling about this situation that I feel like others can relate to. My uncle had passed away last November and, i'd been having flashback dreams of how that day transpired, the same way I spoke about in the song. That was exactly how the day went. I remember coming back a week later after Brady emailed the record to me and recording this record, and Brady had goosebumps. He told me "This is my favorite joint right now." Y'all gotta understand he works with alot of talented musicians all over the country so for him to say that, I knew I had a solid record. But really it was about creating something in memory of one of the greatest men in my life, who probably didn't even know he was that for me. I'm not a very expressive person emotionally I keep alot of things to myself so, I hope he's hearing it everytime someone plays it in their ipod or in their car, and I hope he's nodding to the words and smiling.

5.What went in to choosing who was going to be featured on Welcome to Bosstown?
CHILLA: You know I really didn't want to have so many features because I wanted people to get familiar with me as an artist, but I felt so strongly about every record I elected to be on the project that I just ran with it. Volume 2 won't have so many features, maybe 3 or 4. But the rest will be mostly me, maybe aside from a hook or two. But I chose my features based on who I felt I worked well with and who I sounded good with. I feel like everyone I worked with on the project i have a good chemistry with in the studio and we have a good understanding of how to approach records together so, that was big in my selection process of who to include.

6.As a die hard battle rap fan and as much as this mixtape is a classic I wanted a surprise feature from 40 BARRS being as though she's from Boston; was that ever an option?
CHILLA: Definitely. 40 is my sister man. It's like, I feel like people box us together so much that we're trying not to let yall see us do everything together, even though we hang out regularly and just kick it and spar rounds and get in the studio together. We're trying to show yall are individuality both battle wise and musically but on the real man I love 40. We've always been cool even before the battle shit popped off and we always been close. We definitely have some music in the works and she also has a crazy project up her sleeve ready to drop. When you hear her project you are going to realize that her and I are a different breed in terms of making music and battling. We can do both with the best of them, for real.

7.Most say battle rappers can't make good music or can't excel past battlerap, what's your take?

CHILLA: Honestly, I agree. Most battle rappers can't. But, in their defense there is a lot of battle rappers who just don't make music. Battling is their music so to speak. Like, people like myself, Marvwon, Lottazay, Cortez, Calicoe, Surf etc. We're using battlerap as a platform for our music to take off, or gain exposure. Some people...battle for that exposure, they don't battle to expose another craft or to market another talent they have, because battling is their talent. And, there's nothing really wrong with that I guess. But I always feel like, ok when battling is over, are you going to just fade into the shadows? If you are out of the ring for a year, are you going to lose relevancy? See, I have so much going on that I could take 2015 off battle wise, but still drop 2 mixtapes, throw 2 battle events in my city, shoot video cyphers, and push my t shirts, hats and mixtapes online, I could still remain relevant without even thinking about battling, and that's what I want to put myself in position to do when I decide to slow down with battling. I'm careful about saying the word "retire" because if the opponent and money is right, I probably will always have that itch to do it, but eventually i'll slow way down and focus on my brand as a whole, not just through battling.

8.Who has inspired Chilla Jones musically and battle rap wise?

CHILLA: Musically, I'd say Eminem, Big Pun, and Jay-Z are my biggest influences. There are a ton of other emcees that I like alot, but as far as who influenced me and my style musically, those 3 the most. Battlerap wise, Mook Lux and Rex are my influences. The true OGs of battlerap really inspired me to get in this game and cause hell. Before performance mattered. When it was bars and wittiness and creativity and confidence that people gravitated too.

9.A 12 song Mixtape is solid and it gives off an album type feel,do you feel as though you left anything off of this record that your fans would have wanted to hear?

CHILLA: Yeah, I mean I think some people would have wanted to hear one 3 minute record where I just go crazy with bars. Schemes, Punchlines, Flow switches, you know, just a song to dumb out on. The next project will definitely have that. But my goal for this one was to shake the battle rap mold most people naturally have placed me in and show myself as an artist. Hopefully this project has done that, and now on future projects i can't walk the line between the two without being put into one box.

10.You're stranded on an island Chilla and you can only can have three things what are they?

CHILLA: Hmm. If we are talking like inanimate objects, I'm gonna go with an Xbox One, my cellphone and probably a TV. I need to be able to play my shooters and sports games, get my tweets off and keep up with battles lol. I think those are the 3 things i'd go with.

BIGG K VS BIG KANNON
Rare Breed Entertainment has solidified their spot in battle rap just from the orchestration of there match ups and always presenting if not great very good battles no matter what the tier level.
ARP, Shaka and the whole RBE staff has an agenda and its simple, and that's to produce good battles. Now with that being said I present to you
Bigg K Vs Big Kannon
one of the many gems RBE has been dropping off their latest event "Lift His Soul".
This battle gets one word REPLAY VALUE oh my fault that's two - ((shrugs).
Bigg K and Big Kannon put on a show because they both showed up ready to blast.
Big Kannon has been moving through opponents left and right and doing so on his own league
Go-Rilla Warfare.Bigg K also been knocking out heads as he was victorious recently against the bar God Danny Myers now let's break these rounds down.
Round 1 was excellence from both, Big Kannon went first and proceeded to go in with dope wordplay and solid punches Kannon was going off for real
Quotable bar:"You six two football build I know how to tackle you, you can Sea (see) Hawks or the Eagles which team you trying to get drafted to".
Dope scheme and he was waving his hands like guns during, crazy round for Kannon.
Bigg K came out of left field with punch after punch and busting off hay makers like they were fillers
Quotable bar:"That Bazooka Joe ain't bubble gum nor that glock 18 wit the double drum a hundred shots rapid fire got ya set smothered I'm going nuts on the drums like step Brothers."
Bigg K was killing this round and it looked like he did it effortless.
Gave this round to Bigg K even though Kannon was coming with fire and brimstone Bigg K's presence was demanding.
Round 1 BIGG K

Kannon came out in the second spazzing again, my man don't let up.
He was really spitting some flames. Kannon is unique with the bars and most of the time this man does not disappoint you
Quotable bar:"You gangsta how, swing at the neck through my defense I weave it I'll just ride through ya block with the guys beastin, I don't give a f if you with ya b
I'm squeezin you don't want to be f'ed as a couple don't try swingin."
Dopeness, Kannon gave a fierce 2nd round he was straight nice.
Bigg K had some nice punches here and there in this round but stop very very short so I had to give this round to Kannon off that alone.
ROUND 2 BIG KANNON

Round 3 was a dope ending to this battle because Bigg K did something that I never thought would work and that's kill somebody in a round off fat jokes. Now don't get me wrong Big Kannon was straight fire again he was really bringing it
Quotable bar:"I was gonna walk in start sparkin the steel and not even have a thought for civilians but ARP Trick Trick he didn't let me bring the Ross in the building."
Crazy round for Kannon but Bigg K fat jokes was a barrage of hay makers and they just kept coming
Quotable bar:"You gotta tattoo of a twinkie lower back stamp
Got it when you was thirteen up at fat camp
I do it for the streets you do it for the sweets
Used to battle in the lunchroom and the loser had to eat."
Yo Bigg K had them coming on a conveyor belt and they were hitting hard.
Many say its bars over everything but who say funny hard hittin jokes not bars.
Bars to me are bangin ryhmes and with in those jokes that's what I heard.
The bad thing about it Bigg K wasn't even really that serious or I saw he could have came harder and he still won to me.No bias or anything like that I just really thought Bigg K was just better in this battle but I'm not mad at anyone that may say Big Kannon won.
Bigg K's presence and demeanor over shadowed Kannon even though Kannon was spitting some heat.Salute to Big Kannon and Bigg K for showing up and shout out to RBE keep bringing us those rare battles we need yall.

Jay Blac
THE BATTLE RAP BLOGGER

As I take my time to make comics from battles I always get those that support say "When are you going to make a comic for so and so battle or why you haven't dropped a comic in awhile", I mean I really get harassed but its good harassment (love yall). I say this to say I caught myself one time tweeting and harassing our feature blogger JAY BLAC because he wasn't meeting my (REACTIONS) needs lol. Jay Blac brings something special to battle rap blogging, not only does
Jay Blac have you in tears with his hilarious "Reactions" he also goes in depth with his reviews and you can count on him to give you a true unbias account of the battle.
Jay Blac has a certain uncanny charisma behind that camera when he expresses his take on a battle and you know its set in stone when he speaks. Blac is loved by the battle rap community and battle rap leagues because not only does he shed light on the battles he reviews he promotes the leagues also. Jay Blac is in a league of his own when it comes to this blogging thing and with that being said I hope Blac is always around to give his reactions and reviews because its always nice when you see there's a new BLAC video up.
Yo  Blac I commend you on your efforts and what you bring to battle rap keep shining bro skies the limit.
